Day Nineteen

Thank the Lord for always keeping his promises.

Pray we seek to have a heart like Jesus’; it is in this all our needs will be met. Pray we serve Jesus with our actions not just our words.

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Day Eighteen

Thank God for what he has entrusted us and pray for the discipline and obedience to steward well the His blessings regardless the perceived value.

Pray we will be honest and bold believers who operate with total integrity on behalf of Christ (an in) Jesus.

Whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. Luke 16:10

Day Seventeen

Thank God for all he has and continues to provide for us.

Pray for the courage and faith to trust God.

The earth is the Lords, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Psalms 24:1-2

Pray for a Godly focus. One that focuses on lasting things eternal rather than earthly things that fade.

Pray God for a pure heart and to desire what God desires.

For we brought nothing into this world and can take nothing out of it. 1 Timothy 6:7

Day Fifteen

Thank God for the ability to honor Him. Even to speak His name is praise. 

Pray we are generous givers with whatever God has entrusted us (finances, talents, time, etc.).  Pray for the faith and willingness to give towards growing God’s kingdom on earth. We are called to love, serve and to make disciples.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops, and your vat will brim over with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

Pray God’s wisdom for Journey pastors and teachers.

May they be lead by the Holy Spirit and be bold and courageous.

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. James 3:1

Day Thirteen

Pray for God’s love and compassion show through his people. May we love deep and wide.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8

Day Twelve

Pray that God will help us stand by our commitments.

Above all, brothers, do not swear oaths by heaven, by earth, or by any other object.  Instead, let your “Yes” mean yes and your “No” mean no! James 5:12

Day Eleven

Pray for a good foundation for Journey’s new building and future.

Ask God that we comprehend the life he has given us through the sacrifice of his own life.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:18-19

Day Ten

Thank God we get to have treasure.

Ask God to guide us in understanding His true treasures and how they outweigh the temporary “things” of earth.

For where your treasure is there your heart be also. Matthew 6:21
